These are the Terms and Conditions for Chat2Act (“The App”). If you have questions, you can always reach us at support@chat2act.com. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms as well as the Shopify App Store Terms of Service.

Key Points

We will not:

• Sell or share your store data with advertisers or external marketers

• Contact your customers directly

• Publicly identify your store as a source of any data in our system

• Claim ownership of your data

We will:

• Use your store data only to provide query, reporting, and AI insights to you

• Store and process data securely, as described in our Privacy Policy

• Publish only aggregated, anonymized insights (e.g., benchmarks, trends) without identifying your store

• Continuously improve the Service and keep you updated about key changes

Scope of Service

The App provides merchants with AI-driven reporting, analytics, and conversational database queries. It connects to your Shopify store to access order, product, and customer data needed to deliver insights.

By using the App, you confirm that:

• You are authorized to install the App on behalf of your Shopify store

• You will provide accurate account and billing details

• You will use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and Shopify’s terms

Ownership and Rights

• You retain full ownership of your store data.

• We do not claim any rights to your data beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

• Any feedback, suggestions, or feature ideas you share may be used by us to improve the App without obligation to compensate you.

Use of AI Services

To generate responses and insights, Chat2Act securely sends relevant prompts and data to OpenAI’s API. This data transfer is limited to what is needed for query understanding and result generation. OpenAI processes this information according to its own policies, and we ensure compliance with data security standards.

Billing and Termination

• Fees for the App (if applicable) are billed via Shopify’s billing system.

• You can uninstall the App at any time. Uninstallation will stop new data collection but may not automatically delete previously stored data (see Privacy Policy for deletion requests).

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your use of the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

Liability

• The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data queries and business decisions made based on the insights provided.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here with a revised “last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of those changes.
